November 9, 2008, Sunday, Football, and Life.

It is indeed Sunday and Football is on tv. I'm lounging about just resting up for another week of fun at work. Today is also the 5 year anniversary of my mom's passing. She was an incredibly intelligent and strong woman who had to suffer cruelly at the hands of ovarian cancer. Why is it at the end of one's life, suffering and pain is the main premise? Can one just die without pain and suffering? Personally, I would like to go quickly and painlessly. It was agonizing witnessing her struggle with suffering and pain; through it all, she remained strong in her faith and knew that her reward would soon be worth the wait. We have all been blessed in knowing her and her absence is missed daily.
